Catch The Purple Doll on CHInoy TV's Chinoy Charts!

Saturday, November 29, 2014
Hi guys and gals! Just wanted to update y'all that I'm in a lot better state now than when I first went through topical steroid withdrawal. I still can't eat everything and anything, but I'm now in a better shape to live life to the fullest again. And that includes TV guesting. Yay! With a clearer albeit still imperfect skin, I can now face the cameras again.

This time, I'll be a guest food blogger on CHInoy TV which is the only Filipino-Chinese television show that doesn't only feature the Chinese heritage, but also how it harmonizes with the Filipino culture. One of its many segments is the Chinoy Charts where they feature food choices of a particular category.

For tomorrow's episode, the host Willord, Jill from The Food Scout, and myself will be checking out 2 steakhouses in Makati which we'll evaluate by their dishes' taste, location and value for money. Please catch us on the Living Asia Channel or PTV Channel 4.

Living Asia Channel
Sunday, 10:00 to 11:00 AM
Channel 88 Global/Destiny
Channel 99/113 Sky/Home

PTV Channel 4
Sunday, 10:00 to 10:30 AM

Our first stop was CHOPS Chicago Steakhouse in Greenbelt 5. I've reviewed this steakhouse before, but it was really nice to be able to visit back. I won't spill much about the food for the mean time, so please catch Chinoy Charts! ( ˘▽˘)っ♨

Not too far from the first restaurant, we found ourselves at The Cheesesteak Shop along Amorsolo Street in Legaspi Village next. Although this place isn't generally classified as a steakhouse restaurant, they still serve steak technically. Cheesesteak to be exact, which is another way one can enjoy beef. Yum!

Although this is my first time working with CHInoy TV, it was definitely very enjoyable. Willord was very down-to-earth and easy to chat with. The producers and all the crew were very friendly as well. It helped a lot too that I was with Jill whom I was already friends with. Hoping this won't be the last time I'll get to work with these incredible people.

Now, if you're wondering, don't worry 'cause you won't need translation services to understand this segment. We mostly used English and Filipino, although you'd very much enjoy the whole show, not just the segment, if you can understand Mandarin. And if you're a Mandarin noob like myself, you will definitely learn a lot too! o((*^▽^*))o

So please catch this episode of CHInoy TV's Chinoy Charts tomorrow Nov. 30, 10AM on the Living Asia Channel or PTV Channel 4. Have a steaktastic weekend everyone!

PS: Will upload some food photos within the day.
