Daily Quickie: Pizza Hut's Wing Street for Delivery
Daily Quickie is a short tag on the title which I use for blog entries about food I'm snacking at home, work or anywhere.
While it's already been quite some time since I last blogged about Pizza Hut, my family and I have still been regularly ordering a box or two for delivery even after we had too much of the Pizza Hut Tuscani (which I'm very proud to have completed). And while there's the new thin and crispy crust over at Pizza Hut, I'm more into their Wing Street.
If I'm not mistaken, Wing Street has already been available in Pizza Hut Bistros back in 2010. However, it wasn't until recently that they offered it for delivery and takeout. If you're wondering what Wing Street is, it's Pizza Hut's new line of chicken wings where you get to mix and match the style, flavor, dip and size, with over 100 ways to wing it.
The last time we ordered wings, we got their 6-piece Baked New Orleans (P219) which is the same as their old New Orleans chicken wings -- moist and tender baked chicken wings coated with a sticky, sweet, savory and a little spicy glaze. Under the Wing Street though, we now have a choice for dip. Mine was the Zesty Garlic.
To go with our pizza of choice yesterday (I told you we regularly order from Pizza Hut), I decided to get a 6-piece Breaded Garlic Parmesan (P219) with Zesty Garlic dip. Although I've always been a fan of the baked wings from Pizza Hut, the breaded ones actually taste good as well. I really like the Garlic Parmesan flavor too, savory but subtle.
At the moment, I'm eyeing the Honey BBQ and Spicy Asian flavors. I'm not sure though if I'll aim to try every Wing Street flavor and blog about it like what I did with my series of Pizza Hut Tuscani posts. Oh, in case you're wondering... Yes, I find P219 for 6 pieces of chicken wings quite expensive (P36.50 per piece). And no, Pizza Hut didn't ask me to feature every flavor in their Tuscani line. We really tried everything at our own expense.
Anyway, have an awesome week everyone and catch my next blog anniversary giveaway to be posted really soon! Don't forget to join my previous blog anniversary giveaways too 'cause you might just be the next lucky winner.

This is great news. When I want wings and pizza, I order from Shakeys (I like their pizza a little less than Pizza Hut's but I like their wings more).
