B Hotel Alabang: 5-Star Experience in a 3-Star Business Hotel

The start of this year has proven to be one intense roller-coaster ride for my sanity. Just look at how few the blog posts I've published for a while now! Sigh. So some time last month, when my dear Mommy Jane of Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice and Mr. Ryan Chan of The Bellevue Hotel & Resorts, invited us for a 3-day staycation at B Hotel in Alabang, I knew I had to grab the opportunity! The timing couldn't get any better too!
B Hotel Alabang

Nestled in the middle of Madrigal Business Park, the B Hotel along Prime Street, is the "no-fuss" counterpart of The Bellevue Manila. The smart choice for business travelers, as the people from B Hotel puts it. It isn't as grand as the latter since the B Hotel is only rated 3 stars. However, knowing that this is under the capable wing of The Bellevue Hotel & Resorts, one can still expect its signature Filipino hospitality, plus the 5-star treatment.

It was the beau's second time driving to Alabang, and thankfully, traffic was not an issue. (He's such an impatient driver, so thank God for light traffic!) From Pasig, it took us less than an hour of smooth sailing going to our destination, the B Hotel.

We arrived a little past 2PM already. So after grabbing a quick late lunch from the hotel's almost-cleared out Friday Lunch Buffet (Thanks for letting the beau and I make habol!), we then checked in and went ahead to our room at the 12th (penthouse) floor.

And here was our home for 2 nights at B Hotel, the Penthouse Suite, a 51-square meter suite with a living area, dining area and kitchenette, a master’s bedroom, and a bathroom with bathtub. Can you spell sosyal?

Most hotels give a welcome fruit platter, but B Hotel had something more in mind.

Aside from the fruits, we were also welcomed with this beautiful chocolate cake!
We were already very content with our Penthouse Suite's kitchenette, living and dining area. But of course, no staycation is complete without the area for getting some Zs.

There's also a balcony adjacent to the master's bedroom. However, due to a city ordinance, the door is locked. Still, it gives a nice view of Alabang, especially at night.

Nighttime and The Next Day

Since this is a 3-day, 2-night stay, we weren't expected to just stay in. With Mommy Jane being the bongga Queen of the South that she is, she made plans for the whole group at The Bellevue Manila, so we spent the rest of the afternoon and night there.

B Hotel Alabang Shuttle Service
The B Hotel offers shuttle service, so going to and from nearby areas within Alabang is no problem!

When we went back to our room at the B Hotel, this plate of cookies surprised us. Love how hotels give sweets for turndown service. It really makes guests feel more at home. It helps with getting a nice and sweet sleep too!

So the morning after, we checked out the Breakfast Buffet of Prime Cafe which is the hotel's signature restaurant. The offering may not be as extensive as that of Cafe d'Asie's in The Bellevue Manila, but Prime Cafe sure has all the basics down! Well, except for the bacon which guests can request for.

Since I still wanted to eat clean despite staying at a hotel, I decided to skip the carbs and go straight for veggies and protein. Oh, and we ordered for a few strips of bacon too, although as you may have noticed, I failed to snap a photo. Toinks!

B Hotel Alabang

Aside from the nice rooms, free Wi-Fi, shuttle service and breakfast buffet, one thing that left me impressed with B Hotel is their impeccable service. Every staff of the hotel greets with a smile, and the help they offer does feel genuine! From our arrival to our departure, B Hotel gave us a memorable staycation we'd want to redo again soon! So thank you for having us. It was really a pleasure experiencing the B Hotel! :)

PS: Our 3-day stay in Alabang was very eventful, so please expect more posts this week: Lunch & Dinner at Phoenix Court, Poolside fun and BBQ at The Bellevue Manila, and Spa Date at Azurea Spa by Bellevue.

    1. Hi Carol! This reply is really late, but anyway, I'm not sure if the cake is part of the penthouse suite welcome treats. I think if there's a special occasion, it might be. To be sure though, you can call them up. :)
