Zomato: Discover the best places to eat in Metro Manila!

If there are early birds, I'm probably the opposite. Zomato which is the world's fastest growing online restaurant and nightlife listing guide had launched its Metro Manila section earlier this year. However, it's only recently that I was able to sign up for an account.

In my defense though, I've already known about Zomato as it has been helpful not just with my food blogging, but with my foodie life in general. With over 10,000 restaurants in its database covering major cities in Metro Manila like Makati, Quezon City, Manila, Mandaluyong, ParaƱaque, Pasay, Pasig, Pateros, San Juan, Taguig and Muntinlupa, Zomato has been a vital source of information. Whenever I have the need to check details and even the menu of certain restaurants, I have the trusty Zomato to rely on.

Zomato Apps

Of course, in this techie generation, browsing Zomato through PC isn't enough, so there are also free mobile apps for all platforms, which conveniently suggests restaurants close by depending on where the user is. This list of suggested dining establishments contains free information about the restaurant, as well as some photos of the ambiance and food, along with an updated restaurant menu. Pretty nifty for foodies, no?

Write For A Bite Contest Zomato

Aside from being a wide listing guide of Metro Manila restaurants, you can also write a review and rate certain establishments on Zomato. This is a really nice feature especially if you're looking for multiple feedback on a particular restaurant or just want to share your dining experience. At the moment, Zomato rewards foodies who give back to the community by writing reviews not just through giving excellent write-ups the chance to be featured on the lower part of the home page, but also the chance to win meal vouchers with its Write For A Bite Contest. So if you have an account, join na!

You first join as a Foodie, and when you gain trust with the reviews you write and increase the number of your followers, you become a Big Foodie, then a Super Foodie, and then finally attain the ultimate status of a Connoisseur.

As you can see, I'm still a loser foodie on Zomato with just over 10 reviews and a measly following. But let's see... I'm interested to work my way up. But more importantly, I want to win me some of those meal vouchers! *wink*

By the way, if you don't have a Zomato account yet, then go and sign up now. You can connect it to your Facebook account or Twitter, so it's very easy. Or, if you already have an account, then let's follow each other and win meal vouchers together! (。◕◡~。)v

  3. There are numerous no cost mobile phone apps. And the portable messaging apps which might be certainly not no cost just cost a tiny sum. Significantly, the two no cost and also not-free apps enable you to send no cost announcements for you to your friends and family exactly where that they dwell in the world.
