Giveaway: Busy days deserve #LUXNights!

Wednesday, February 03, 2016
Back in the day, I'd usually dream of growing up and being an adult. I wanted to break away from all the restrictions. I wanted to sleep as late as I could, go out whenever I want to, and earn my own money so I can buy whatever I want. Fast forward to the present, I find it funny that I feel the exact opposite. I'd usually yearn for more sleep, prefer staying in than going out, and have strong inclination to save up than spend.

I also remember how I was usually bored as a child. How I have so much time on my hands yet not many things to do. But not anymore, I don't...

Lux Giveaway

I've recently celebrated my 25th birthday. And as a grown adult now (I think, I am), I have to juggle several tasks and wear different hats throughout the days. I usually feel like I have so many things to do, but not enough time to accomplish everything. Yet I try my best to finish whatever I can, so they won't pile up on me.

2016 Sumi

As glam and laid-back as I try to look on social media, I usually don't have enough time to even pimp myself up during the weekdays. I work for my parents' businesses, and run errands most of the time. And if you knew my dad, you'd know how he wants things done pronto as soon as he says it. At home, I'm a mom to a cute yet annoying fur of energy -- Kitkat, my cat. And as part of my healthy eating-healthy living regimen, I also cook my own meals, and my family's meals when they request for it.

Of course, as you know, I also keep this blog as a hobby. And while I enjoy writing and sharing on this small space on the web, I sometimes go on short hiatuses when things get really busy. I also enjoy other hobbies which can take a huge chunk of my spare time. 'Cause hey, even a busy girl has got to have time for fun hobbies to keep her sanity! ☆(>ω・)

Multi-tasking

On weekends and holidays, I try my best to spend quality time with my family, friends and the beau. If there's something I learned through my 25 years of living, it's to always find time for your loved ones, 'cause we only got a few years here on the Earth. #TeamSenti

But of course, it's also important to find time to pamper ourselves. With all the multi-tasking we do, our daily responsibilities can inevitably drain us. And if we're dead tired (and sometimes, cranky), it won't only show on our face, skin and mind, but also through our interaction with other people.

One simple way we can treat ourselves at the end of each day, is to indulge in a luxurious bath. What do you say about bathing with perfume? Sounds fancy?

  2. I have been following your blog for a long time and I really like it. Everyone has their own way - it's true. Becoming an adult is sometimes very difficult and even painful. You need to make decisions, take responsibility. I remember that as a child I was very afraid of spiders and my mother always mopped them from the ceiling above my bed, and told me to be brave. Now my mother is no longer with me and I solve such problems myself. I am glad that I can contact the spider control service and my house will be cleaned of insects in a short time. This is a simple solution to a difficult problem for me. But in adulthood, things are not so simple.
